  • Condition: This is a brand new tail light lens made by the Johnson Glass Company. It is over 60 years old so the box does have some very slight shelf wear. The lens is not "perfect" in the sense that glass manufacturing in the 1950's had slight flaws - this lens would be representative of how the lenses would have looked like when the car was sold new. This lens is glass - some of the reproductions are plastic.

    This is a brand new lens that was made over 60 years ago and has been kept dry and warm for over 1/2 a century. This lens should be a very close production to the original with the same contours in the lens and the glass having the same color and quality found in the 1940's. Even if you never installed this the box and part are worthy of being in a Mueseum - this is a real treasure.
