    Description

    Sterling silver napkin ring with thread edge rims and hand engraved bright cut body, with script monogram "ALT."  The napkin ring weighs .64 troy ounces and measures 1 5/8 inches high and 1 5/8 inches in diameter.  Marked on the inside band with Gorham's trademark above "Sterling", "730" and the date letter "M" for 1880.  The ring is somewhat out-of-round with shallow dents and dings on the body face, and there are tiny nicks with fine wavy bends around the rims, otherwise in good antique condition.
