jeep cj7 cj8 automatic tilt column indicator gm amc gmc saginaw 76-86 fsj

Description

These are for auto tilts for all cj7s cj8s and full size jeeps.(THE WHITE INDICATOR PART ONLY). Im sure they fit all gm and jeep columns but only have tested them on a 86 cj7,81 cj8,79 cj7, and a 78 cherokee. They are not nos or originals. They Took me around a year to auto cad and have been 3d high res printed with resin, cured and washed. I even got it down to the indentations on its sides as i wanted exact.
Here is a list of things that need to be fixed before you use these indicators. Most likely yours broke in the beginning to one or more of these problems
FIRST is your steering column has 30 years of dirt stuck in the selector grove. I used a solvent and pipe cleaners to get it out. If not it will stick and break
2nd i have notice and broke indicators when the upper bearings are bad or just the bolts are loss. If u can move your column or if it wiggles they will break
3Rd is if your indicator cover is cracked where the guide goes it most likely it will get stuck and break
Also dont go and pulling the indicator cover off. There is a clip holding it on.. as always please research before attempting.
