You are purchasing one kit that includes
C9WY-13A366-AL
Sequencer Flasher board (
Incandescent
or LED bulbs)
and
DOWY-13350-AR
Electronic Flasher Can (
Incandescent
bulbs only)
Application:

NOTE: if you purchase this kit and at a later date you want to convert to
Incandescent
bulbs. The C9WY-13A366-AL board will not have to be replaced but you will have to replace the
DOWY-13350-L
flasher can with the
DOWY-13350-AR flasher can.
This sequencer does not come with the black case and you will need to reuse the original. Simply open it up and remove the old circuit card and replace it with the new one. The connectors will match up to your existing harness. No soldering or wire crimping necessary.

Helpful Hints 69-73 Cougar
You might need this kit if your Symptoms are;
One or more lights not flashing:
If all bulbs are OK, the trouble is most likely in the sequential flasher board in the trunk.
Inner lights only flashing:
If only the innermost rear lights flash (and the front lights), use a tester to determine whether there is power available at the red harness connector on the Green-White (left turn signal on) and on the White-Blue (right turn signal on) wires. If both signals are OK, the sequential flasher board in the trunk is most likely bad. Otherwise, the turn signal switch in the column is bad.
All lights on but not flashing
All lights flash together.
Outer light on both sides not flashing or flashing very dim.
Note: Beware of the 552-flasher can. You can find them here and there new but most do not work. We have found that only a handful out of 100 will work out of the box. Some can be modified to work but 3 out of 4 of those now cannot be modified.  We no longer recommend or service the 552-flasher can.
